Upon first glance, the scale is very well designed and looks more expensive than what you pay for it. The setup process is pretty easy, but it needs to be, because the instruction manual is printed in very small font which makes it difficult to follow. Changing from one measurement to another is as simple as pushing a button and there is no need to turn it on or off manually as it offers step-on technology and auto detection for 8 users (over age 10).A couple tips for getting the most accurate readings out of this scale:Step on it with bare, slightly damp feet.Remove all jewelry and anything else metal from your body (not intended for people with pacemakers).Keep the scale on a flat, hard surface and make sure your weight is evenly distributed to the center of the scale.Take measurements at the same time of the day and do not drink large amounts of water or other fluids immediately beforehand.Many users have reported that bone and muscle mass measurements are inaccurate, which is consistent with the results we recieved. Weight and body fat measurements, on the other hand, were mostly consistent over time. As with any scale of this nature, the results aren’t 100% accurate but can give you a good trend of where you’re heading over time. Unfortunately, this scale does not log your measurements via a bluetooth or Wifi connection, so it will be up to you to log this data manually.
