Design: Dual rubber wheel design with soft hand grips, all black.
Key Features:
- It provides a good workout for your abdominal muscles, as well as arms, chest, shoulders and back. An effective tool for training your core.
- The dual wheels, having a spacing between them, ensure proper balance and stability when exercising.
- It comes with a comfortable foam knee pad.
- Rubber wheels that work on all surfaces. Besides superior grip, they are also noiseless and harmless to your home floors, no matter what the materials are.
- Compact size.
The Good:
- Rubberized wheels. Considering the price, you do not usually expect anything else but plastic. In this case, you do see a thin rubber layer for your money.
- Provides the workout advertised. You can feel your core muscles working as soon as you start using the ab roller.
- Comes with a good knee pad. Again, a good feature for this price. The foam material in the pad is comfortable enough.
- Quiet and rolling fairly well on most surfaces.
- Soft, comfortable feeling on the handle’s cover.
- Good balance thanks to its dual wheels and the spacing between them, which ensures increased wideness.
- Overall decent value for its price.
The Bad:
- The wheels are too small compared to the standard in the field. While the manufacturer lists the compact size as a plus, in practice it just makes the roller less comfortable to use.
- The rubber layer on the wheels is not of a very good quality and seems like it would wear down quickly. Not that surprising, considering the manufacturer had to cut costs somehow, yet it’s worth mentioning. Don’t go in expecting wheels of the quality seen in more expensive models.
- Somewhat cheaply made. While it does have some interesting features, you will still feel like it’s a low-cost product when using it.
- Questionable life span.

The Verdict
As one of the cheapest ab rollers on the market, the Readaeer Abdominal Exercise Roller does provide some interesting features. The rubberized wheels are a rare find in this price range. You can really feel some of their benefits: good grip on multiple surfaces, quiet, not damaging the floors – these alone are enough to gain our praise. However, the rubber surface seems to wear down faster than we’ve seen at similar wheels, making us concerned for its life expectancy.
The dual wheel system, with spacing in between, does its job well, ensuring the balance and stability you need during workouts. We liked the handles as well – we found them to be quite comfortable, while still providing the necessary grip. The axle bar they go on seemed quite strong.
One thing that didn’t inspire trust in the long run were the cheap looking plastic wheel frames. While we didn’t have them break during our tests, we are not confident we could use them for a significant period.
When you add all this up, the Readaeer Abdominal Exercise Roller is still one of the better choices at its price range. Rubberized wheels, good handles and a knee pad are most than what you usually get with an entry level product. But expect to see some of the typical cheap build quality too.
