If you’ve been working out for a while and are no longer seeing any results, it might be because you have already gotten used to the type of training and need to step it up a notch. Most people would lift weights, but you cannot exactly go running around or do burpees with your dumbbells in hand. It’d be really uncomfortable, to begin with, and your movements would be restricted a lot. This is why a vest like the Cross 101 can come in handy because it places the weight around your torso. It’s equipped with ten weights of 4 lbs, allowing you to set your own weight depending on how much you believe you can handle. The maximum weight that this vest supports is 40 lbs and the size is 13 inches in width. It’s adjustable, so one size was made to fit all.
- The carrying weight can be adjusted
- The design with a belt will allow for an easy setup
- Weights made of iron ore
- Great for cross training, strength training or any other kind of training
- Shoulder pads can cause rub burns
- Better used for strength training than dynamic training
The price is kind of high when compared to other vests we’ve found, but it makes up when it comes to the sturdy construction. It straps well to the body, and you can do your workout without having your movements restricted. The vest will stay in one place. Overall, we believe that this vest is a good acquisition if what you’re interested in is strength workouts. My only advice would be for them to work on making the material softer so that it does not rub on the skin when it moves around. It would be great if you could also use this vest for running.
