  • Good For Everyone: BPI Sports BCAA supplement is not actually targeted at women but is for both sexes. This means that it isn't specifically formulated to target women-specific concerns but is designed for general muscle building, increased strength and endurance, reduced fat loss and muscle recovery.
  • Fruit Punch Flavor: The fruit punch flavor tastes nice, without being too sweet. As this product is aimed at men and women, the taste is sweet yet not overpowering, suitable for all taste buds.
  • 2:1:1 Ratio: BPI Sports BCAA Powder features the ideal BCAA 2:1:1 ratio (2 parts leucine, 1 part valine, 1 part isoleucine), to provide the greatest effect on muscle protein synthesis, increase endurance and aid muscle recovery.

The Bad

As BPI Sports BCAA Powder is not specifically targeted to women, it doesn't contain any common women-specific enhancers such as Collagen or Green Tea Extract. While this is not a drawback, per se, for women looking for BCAAs specifically targeted to them, this may not be ideal. However, this is a fantastic supplement that does offer many benefits for men and women alike, such as increased muscle mass, reduced fat, faster muscle recovery and increased endurance.

Because this is equally targeted at men, as well as women, some women may be afraid that they will bulk up or look too muscular with this supplement. However, this supplement contains no testosterone, so it is unlikely to cause bulking, and if you're worried, you can lower the dosage to suit your needs.


1 scoop contains 10g of BCAAs, which should be blended into 8oz of cold water once daily, before, during or after your workout. On non-training days, 1 serving should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach.
